Due to large ticketing changes that Arsenal FC have made, supporters’ clubs across the country have had their ticket allocation capped. This has affected our ticket numbers by quite some margin.
Although we are happy to take on new members, tickets to matches are no longer guaranteed. Our club was set up to take as many members to games as possible- so a good rule of thumb is that if you are not local to East Sussex and not willing to travel with us to games, there is very little point in joining our club, and it would be better to find a club that is closer to your geographical location.
Sadly, with no guarantee of tickets for even those members who are local to our club, we want to warn you about the fact that there is now a much smaller chance of gaining match tickets for games.

Dear Arsenal East Sussex Supporters Club,
We’d like to thank you for your support during the 2022/23 season.
As you are aware, there were some changes made during the season to Supporter Club ticket access.
Ahead of the new season, we would like to confirm the approach and process for ticket access for the 2023/24 season.
Ticket Allocations
o Due to the extremely high rate of renewal for General Admission season tickets, we will maintain for next season the maximum number of 700 tickets for domestic supporter clubs
o The process for allocating each Supporter Club’s share of tickets within this limit will remain the same as the 2022/23 season (proportionally based on the number of Silver memberships held)
o For next season, we will have two new official domestic Supporter Clubs, so initial allocations will be reflected accordingly. In the event any existing domestic Supporter Clubs decide not to operate for next season, their tickets will be redistributed to the remaining Clubs
o As Arsenal East Sussex Supporters Club, your confirmed allocation for the 2023/24 season is 48 tickets per game. This will remain the same for every men’s home fixture
Ticket Application Process
The process for applying for tickets via the Extranet will be the same as Season 2022/23 – as detailed in the image below:
Please note:
· A valid membership number must be supplied for each ticket within your allocation. Any Memberships held by a Supporters Club that are not assigned to their allocation via the extranet can be used to apply for tickets in the subsequent Member ballot windows
· The deadline for Supporters Club to submit their application for tickets (in line with their set allocation) will be approximately 5-7 days before the Silver Ballot Registration deadline. Confirmed dates will be published in advance on the Supporter’s Club extranet
· AFC Membership Requirement
o From the start of the 23/24 season, all individuals using Supporter Club tickets must be paid members of the Official Arsenal Membership Scheme
o The name of the member using the ticket does not need to match the membership used to apply for the ticket. However, all individuals using Supporter Club tickets should bring their digital membership pass and photo ID when attending a game as they may be asked to provide this to an Arsenal representative
Ø Applicable memberships include: Red (incl. DA), Silver, Cannon, Junior Gunner, Senior Citizen
Ø For example, if the membership assigned to a ticket belongs to Joe Bloggs (1234567) but John Smith is using the ticket on the matchday, this is fine, but John Smith must be a current paid Arsenal member and have his digital membership pass and photo ID to prove this if required
Ø This change is being introduced to ensure as many tickets as possible are made available to Arsenal members
o As all individuals within your Supporters Club must now hold a paid Arsenal membership, you will have the opportunity to convert any existing Supporter Club Silver memberships into an individual’s name
o If you wish to do this, please let us know by midday on 16 June by filling out this form. Please be aware, this name will be permanently assigned to the new individual and it will not be possible to change the name back to the original owner or to a different individual
· Ticket Checks & Sanctions
o Ticket checks will be in place at home and away games for all Arsenal tickets including those held by Supporter Club
o Supporters using tickets allocated by Supporter Clubs will be required to present both an AFC membership and a matching form of photographic ID as mentioned above
o Any Supporters Club that are found not to be adhering to the above requirements will face sanctions
o Due to the varying nature of offenses, sanctions will be approached and dealt with on a case-by-case basis but could result in the reduction or removal of ticket access
· Ticket Distribution
o Matchday tickets will be distributed via PDF on email
· Moving Card Storage Server
o AFC will be transitioning to a more secure card storage server ahead of the 2023/24 season and so we will need to transfer all card details over to the new system.
o You may get a notification from your bank between now and the start of the season to inform you that your card has been stored securely
o For some banks, we may require you to reconfirm some details of the stored cards, but we will contact you directly if this is the case
Away ticket process
o The away ticket process for Supporters Clubs (who hold season tickets) will remain the same for the 23/24 season. However, as a reminder, the away scheme transition period will no longer be in place; instead, away sales will be based on away credits only
o Season Ticket Holders will receive a specific communication about this at the end of the month
We will be holding a meeting on 19 June for all Supporter Club admins to run through the above changes. You will receive a Zoom invite separately.

THIS WILL BE SO ARSENAL CAN EMAIL YOU DIRECT WITH THE LINK TO PUT THE REGISTRATION ON YOUR PHONE (AS ALL ENTRY NEXT SEASON WILL BE BY PHONE ONLY). OBVIOUSLY THE CLUB WILL HAVE TO PROTECT THE SILVERS, SO WILL REQUIRE AN EMAIL FROM EACH PERSON CONFIRMING THE SILVER REG THEY WILL BE USING IS THE PROPERTY OF THE CLUB, AND THAT THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS TO IT. 6. ARSENAL ARE DOING ALL OF THE ABOVE TO A. TRY AND HAMSTRING THE TOUTS AND B. MAKE IT FAIR THAT IF CURRENTLY EVERYONE OUTSIDE OF SUPPORTERS CLUBS HAS TO HAVE A MEMBERSHIP/REGISTRATION OF SOME DESCRIPTION TO APPLY FOR TICKETS, ALL THOSE IN SUPPORTERS CLUBS SHOULD HAVE TO DO THE SAME.
7. ANYONE WHO HAS ALREADY JOINED/PAID MONEY, BUT WILL NOT APPLY FOR A RED MEMBERSHIP, OR HAVE NOT BEEN ACCEPTED FOR ONE OF OUR SILVERS, IS WELCOME TO A REFUND, AS THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN PROVIDE TICKETS.
FOR ANY REFUNDS MARK WILL NEED THE AMOUNT, WHEN IT WAS PAID AND WHAT IT WAS PAID FOR, PLUS YOUR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS. HE WILL DOUBLE CHECK ALL IS CORRECT THEN MAKE THE REFUND.
